A Wedding at Graeme Park: Rachel & Dan

Labor Day Weekend proved to be a perfect day for a wedding at Graeme Park and Rachel and Dan chose the shady lawn in front of the 18th century Keith House as the site for their ceremony.

The wedding party entered from a path in the woods and proceeded to the ceremony site in front of the house.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvres in the barnyard and then proceeded back to the Open Aire Affairs wedding tent for the reception.

Tables were set with classic white linens and accented with rustic burlap runners which had the table numbers stenciled onto them. Centerpieces were an eclectic mix of various burlap and lace trimmed jars, bottles, and votives with white candles. The papers were part of an iPhone scavenger hunt the couple had planned that involved posting pictures of various things to their wedding site via an app to earn points.

A cute photo booth just outside the tent came with various props for posing with and was part of the scavenger hunt - points for posting a picture of yourself with a mustache, etc.

The dinner was catered by a friend of the couple who was a professional chef, and the menu included, well you can read that for yourself below.

And the cake, how could I have missed getting a picture of the cake? Also made by a friend of the couple who worked in a Brooklyn bakery, it had layers of cake and cheesecake and apples, and booze in the butter cream frosting - it was delicious.

The party proceeded through the beautiful evening in the illuminated tent. Congratulations and best wishes to Rachel and Dan.
